  I purchased some tiles from Barge Tiles. Unfortunately they ordered the wrong ones and had to reorder. I was told they would be in two days later. I rang two days later to collect them and was told they had not arrived and would arrive the next day. Having explained that this was now holding up the project, I asked if first thing tomorrow they could check with the wholesaler, to find out the delivery schedule so I could update the tiler as to when they would arrive. They said they would and would ring me. They did not. When I rang the following day 3 times in one hour each time I was told that they would ring the wholesaler and phone me. they did not. Eventually I was told it was being couriered over for speed so it was not on the normal van. At lunchtime and after more calls, they changed the version of things. It now was not on a van but with the wholesaler and they would pick it up themselves for us to collect. A whole morning wasted hanging on paying a tiler. it was not the fact that there was a problem originally. It was how this company dealt with it and resorted to lying to cover up. I never received an apology or an offer of compensation for the money I had to pay a tiler to sit and wait. Instead I received a call saying they would not release the tiles without payment for the difference in cost. I would not recommend this shop. I thought something was odd when I saw how few tradesmen were using it.
